The Rules
  1. Athletes must be registered with the NAAA for 2010 to legally enter the Games, and ALL ENTRIES must be accompanied by REGISTRATION NUMBERS.
  2. To be eligible to compete in the Age-group events, competitors should not have attained the age of the event during 2010. (U 15 means not to be 15 years in 2010).
  3. Athletes must furnish their Birth Certificates or other forms of ID, for the age group events.
  4. The organizing committee may cancel or frame a new event without notice.
  5. All Registration forms when submitted must be filled in properly, and ALL FEES DUE and payable must accompany the registration forms.
  6. Competitors will be allowed on the Track and Center Field ONLY WHEN COMPETING IN THEIR EVENTS . Officials reserve the right to disqualify any competing athlete for infringing this rule
  7. Competitors facing the Starter without properly secured numbers on FRONT and BACK will not be allowed to start.
  8. As soon as events are declared OFFICIAL, prizes will be distributed, and athletes or their representatives when called must present themselves at the prize enclosure .
  9. Athletes must report to the Competitor's Steward at least forty five (45) minutes before the start of an event .
  10. Participation in the Opening Ceremony is COMPULSORY FOR ALL CLUBS AND SCHOOLS taking part in the Games.
  11. In submitting the entry to compete at the Hampton International Games 2006, it is understood and agreed that the Hampton Athletic Club will not be liable for any injury suffered by any competitor or any damage to any competitor's equipment as a result of traveling to, participating in, presence at, or traveling from Hampton International Games.
  12. Competitors for the finals 22nd and 23rd May will be selected based on time-distance-height or as advised by Competitors Steward or Director of Games. Local athletes will not be allowed to compete on 21st May unless approved by Director of the Games (Medical Report).
  13. The Games will be run under the Rules of the Hampton Athletic Club, the laws of competition of the National Amateur Athletic Association (NAAA) of Trinidad and Tobago and the International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF).
  14. No late entries. These conditions will be strictly enforced and clubs officials are asked to bring them to the attention of all competing coaches and athletes.
Note: Events with three (3) or less teams or competitors will be cancelled.
